There have been many questions this offseason centered around the Clemson Tigers offense, especially concerning Cade Klubnik, and rightfully so, as the quarterback is the key piece to any offense. However, let's take a look at the Tigers wide receiver room to see who might emerge as a dangerous threat in the passing game.

There are four main receivers expected to make a significant impact for the Tigers when the season kicks off on Aug. 31.

Many believe Antonio Williams will emerge this season as Clemson's top receiver.

In 2023, Williams was limited to only four games in the regular season due to various injuries. However, in those four games, he displayed his potential to be the leading receiver on this team and provide Cade Klubnik some much-needed support.

In those four games, Williams had 22 receptions for 224 yards and two touchdowns. Averaging five and a half receptions per game and over 10 yards per catch, it is clear that Williams is a threat with the ball in his hands. It should be no shock to Clemson fans if Williams leads the team in receiving yards this season and gets close to 1,000 yards if he can stay healthy.

Another name that shouldn't surprise Tiger fans in 2024 if he becomes a dominant receiver is Tyler Brown.

In 2023, Tyler Brown was named an ESPN Freshman All-American and a Midseason Freshman All-American by The Athletic and 247Sports.

Brown finished the 2023 season with 52 receptions for 531 yards and four touchdowns. He also displayed his ability running the ball with two rush attempts for 41 yards. With a full year of experience and a full offseason with QB Cade Klubnik, don't be surprised to see a spike in his numbers in 2024.

Two other receivers who have the potential to take over for the Tigers in 2024 are incoming star-studded prospects T.J. Moore and Bryant Wesco Jr.

Bryant Wesco is a four-star recruit according to 247Sports, and he has terrific run-after-catch ability. Standing at 6-foot-2, he has the ability to create major mismatches against smaller defensive backs. However, at only 170 pounds, he will need to add some weight before the season begins.

T.J. Moore is a five-star recruit according to 247Sports. Standing at 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, Moore looks ready to immediately contribute on the field for the Tigers in 2024. He is a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses, and he has exceptional hands and is a major big-play threat with a quick burst off the line of scrimmage.

Tiger fans can expect to see T.J. Moore and Antonio Williams get the majority of targets in the 2024 season, and don't be surprised if the incoming freshman leads the Tigers in receiving yards.
