Corian Gipson is officially in the fold.
The 4-star CB, out of Lancaster, Tx, signed his National Letter of Intent with Clemson on Wednesday.
Gipson committed back in the summer, choosing the Tigers over Texas, Texas Tech and Ohio State. In the end, though, this was more of a two-team battle between Clemson and the Longhorns.
The blue-chip talent had 41 offers in total, picking up one from Clemson after an unofficial visit back in March. He then returned for the spring game and the big official visit weekend in June.
The 6-foot, 170-pound ranks No. 75 overall in the 247 Composite and No. 6 among all corners. He ranks No. 14 in the state of Texas. Gipson is one of two takes at corner in the class, as he joins 4-star Tavoy Feagin, giving position coach Mike Reed two extremely talented players to work with. Although, 3-star DB Ashton Hampton could end up playing corner, as well. Gipson is set to be an early enrollee.
