Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers have added another huge piece to its 2024 recruiting class.

4-star CB Corian Gipson (Lancaster, Tx) announced a commitment to the Tigers on Saturday, choosing Clemson over Texas, Texas Tech and Ohio State. In the end, though, this was more of a two-team battle between the Tigers and Longhorns.

Gipson has 41 offers in total, picking up one from Clemson after an unofficial visit back in March. He then returned for the spring game and the big official visit weekend in June.

The 6-foot, 170-pound blue-chip talent ranks No. 67 overall in the 247 Composite Rankings and No. 7 among all cornerbacks. He's also one of the top players in the state of Texas.

His announcement now gives Clemson a total of 17 commitments in the 2024 class, which is now firmly entrenched inside of the Top 10 of the team recruiting rankings.
