With one of its biggest recruiting weekends of the year on the horizon, Clemson is already making moves on the recruiting trail.
4-star DE Ari Watford (Maury, Norfolk, Va) announced a commitment to the Tigers on Wednesday, giving Clemson one of the top pass rushers in the class. He chose Clemson over Penn State, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, South Carolina and Syracuse.

Watford is considered one of the Top 30 players in the class and is the fourth-best edge rusher in the nation, per the Composite Rankings.
He is the first DE to commit in this cycle and gives Clemson eight verbal pledges in the 2025 class that is currently firmly entrenched in the Top 10 of the recruiting rankings.
