How hot is the Clemson baseball team right now? To quote the late, great Robin Williams in “Good Morning Vietnam”, “Hot. Damn Hot.”
However, according to Aaron Fitt of D1Baseball.com–the winners of 23 of their final 27 regular season games, winners of 12 consecutive games, and they won their final seven ACC series, with four of those coming by way of sweep–they are not just hot, they are nuclear.
“Seriously, Clemson is nuclear right now, what a run,” Fitt wrote. I think they’re a safe top eight (national seed) even with an 0-2 in Durham (ACC Tournament), and I could see them climbing to 3 or 4 (national seed) with a deep run.
