CLEMSON S.C. – The Clemson lacrosse team (1-0) is set to play its second game of its inaugural season against Furman (0-0) at Historic Riggs Field on Wednesday, Feb. 15th at 4:00 p.m. For those who are unable to attend, the game will be broadcasted live on ACC Extra. Live stats are available here.

The tigers look to continue their momentum from their dominating 23-1 victory over the Wofford Terriers on Saturday Feb. 11. In their game against Wofford, the team secured 20 out of 25 draws, scooped up 29 ground balls, and had 11 different players put the ball in the back of the net. Hanna Hilcoff, Gianna New, and Ella Little each earned game balls for their performance. Hilcoff registered five goals, two assists, and five draw controls, New notched five goals and one assist, and Little finished with seven draw controls and two assists.

After finishing 8-8 last year, Clemson will be Furman’s first opponent of the 2023 season. Furman has some new leadership in Assistant Coaches Karli Gilbert and Destiny Colón, as well as team captains Meagan Beal, Hannah Dintino, and Katelyn Sousa. Beal and Dintino will look to have an impact as both were named Preseason All-Big South for the second consecutive season.
