Clemson Roster Update: Tigers Down Two Key Starters at Syracuse

Clemson will be without two key starters for today’s noon game at Syracuse.

Neither receiver Antonio Williams nor Nate Wiggins made the trip to face the Orange. Williams, who was Clemson’s leading receiver heading into last week, missed the Florida State game with an ankle injury.

Wiggins, an emerging star at cornerback, suffered a lower-body injury against FSU that will keep him out this week.

Dabo Swinney said both players were working toward trying to play but it seems neither could get healthy enough to be on the travel roster.

Jeadyn Lukus will likely see the bulk of the snaps at cornerback while Tyler Brown, who had two touchdown catches against FSU, will play in place of Williams.

Clemson is also down right guard Walker Parks and receiver Cole Turner, who are both out for the season.
