Clemson will be without starting defensive back Andrew Mukuba for the second consecutive game.
He was not dressed out when Clemson took the field in preparation for today’s 8 p.m. home game against Florida Atlantic.
The junior was listed as “day-to-day” with a “lower-body injury” since last week, according to Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney.
Starting offensive lineman Walker Parks is also listed as “day-to-day” and is unlikely to play tonight. Mitchell Mayes will likely get the start in place of Parks, who started the last two games.
Mukuba had seven tackles in the season opener at Duke but sat out of the Week 2 contest against Charleston Southern after a short week.
Freshmen Khalil Barnes and Avion Terrell worked in Mukuba’s place during practice this week, according to Swinney, and linebacker Wade Woodaz can also play in the hybrid role.
