CLEMSON- Dabo Swinney's high school camps kicked off on Wednesday with both a morning and afternoon session.
2025 4-star QB George MacIntyre (Brentwood, Tenn.) was one of the more notable participants in the morning session. Standing 6-foot-5, MacIntyre is hard to miss. The 5-star prospect is arguably one of the Top 15 players overall in the next recruiting cycle and already has close to three dozen offers.
MacIntyre was extremely impressive. He has a smooth delivery and has the arm to make all the throws. Time and again he delivered the ball with pinpoint accuracy. It is easy to see why he left with an offer in tow.
2025 4-star OL Justin Hasenhuetl (Rabun Gap, Ga.) was another standout. The 6-foot-5, 300-pound prospect just stood out from all the other offensive linemen that were taking part in the camp. He is fast and he appears extremely powerful. Like MacIntyre, Hasenhuetl left with an offer in hand.
2025 4-star DL Jakaleb Faulk (Highland Home, Ala.) was also on hand in the morning session and came away with an offer. Faulk is not only quick, but he is also explosive.
2025 WR Josiah Abullah (Woodward, Atlanta, Ga.) flashed.
There were three notable 2024 prospects on hand. The first is 3-star QB Kamari McClellan (Clay, Pinson, Ala.). He is 6-foot-1 and listed at 175-pounds, but he looks like he is heavier than that. McClellan was a hot commodity after his sophomore season but a coaching change at his high school led to a somewhat down junior season that affected his stock.
Having said all that, McLellan looked extremely good on Wednesday, working out in both sessions. He is very nimble, smooth in the pocket and the ball just glides out of his hand. Whether or not Clemson offers another quarterback in the 2024 class remains to be seen, but McClellan performed about as well as he could have in an effort to earn one.
2024 3-star WR Javarius Green (Crest, Shelby, N.C.) also stood out. He is only 5-foot-10, but he is already approaching the 20 offer mark. Green took part in both sessions, displaying impressive speed and an ability to cut on a dime. If you put the ball in his vicinity, he is catching it. If the receiver board has to expand, Green is a name worth monitoring.
There was also one name to file away for the future and that is 2028 ATH Dexter McCleon Jr. He is the son of former Clemson standout Dexter McCleon. Yes, he is a 2028 recruit but he looks more like a high school junior. Just like he did at camp one year ago, McCleon worked out alongside the older receivers and the youngster more than held his own. He looked like he belonged. He also plays baseball and already has a 90-mph fastball.
