CLEMSON- The first two days of Dabo Swinney's high school camp are in the books. There were morning and afternoon session each of the past two days, with numerous prospects working out for the coaching staff.
Wednesday saw the first wave of offers roll out for the 2025 class, and more are expected to come.
One of those has already been announced, as 2025 4-star DE CJ May (Highland Home, Ala.) worked out during the morning session and left with an offer in hand. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound edge rusher was one of the most impressive players I saw all day. His motor is always running. He attacks each rep.
2025 4-star DE Jared Smith (Spain Park, Birmingham, Ala.) also looked the part during the morning session. Standing 6-foot-6, he is an imposing figure. Dabo Swinney even stopped to watch for a few minutes.
The morning session for me, though, was highlighted by the quarterbacks. 2025 3-star Cutter Woods (Westside, S.C.) and 2025 4-star Stone Saunders (Bishop McDevitt, Harrisburg, Pa.) both had impressive showings. Woods stood out as much as anyone. He moves really well and puts the ball on point with just the right touch.
2025 3-star Sawyer Anderson (Parish Episcopal, Dallas) was also sharp, displaying impressive accuracy.
2025 QB Grayson White (Camden, S.C.) also throws a pretty ball.
The one that really caught my eye was 2025 3-star Bryce Baker (East Forsyth, Kennersville, N.C.). He looks like he has all the tools. His delivery is smooth and he puts the ball on target.
One tight end really stood out. 2025 4-star Ryan Ghea (Milton, Alpharetta, Ga.). The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder could easily be a candidate for one of the next offers at the position.
2025 OL Mal Waldrep (Central, Phenix City) was one of the offensive lineman that stood out. The 6-foot-5, 290-pound prospect was getting a lot of individual attention and then left with an offer.
The other was 2025 4-star OL Cortez Smith (Lilburn, Ga.). The 6-foot-4, 275-pounder looked smooth and powerful.
2025 DT Amare Adams (Lake City, S.C.) was also on campus today. The afternoon viewing period ended with Swinney meeting with him and his dad during a break. Adams is one of the top players in the country and the top prospect in the state.
One name to file away for the future. I spent a little time in the afternoon watching 2026 QB CJ Britt (Lanier Christian, Ga.). He was extremely accurate and delivers the ball with a nice touch.
