Dabo Swinny Doesn't Have Questions Post Spring; Just Wants Team Healthy (Football)

Dabo Swinney

Like clockwork, every spring practice session ends with one question for head coach Dabo Swinney: What questions do you have headed into the summer?

When Swinney was asked that question following Clemson's spring game he took a different approach, he doesn't have any questions--he just wants his team healthy and whole.

"We just got to get healthy. We got to get everybody back. That's the biggest thing, just get complete," Swinney said. "And we're not far from there. I mean, again, most everybody that's been out has been just lingering stuff and postseason stuff that ... Ruke could probably play today. And I asked him that today. I said, "How you feeling?" He said, "I could play today." And I mean, that's great.

"So if we were starting spring ball next week, he probably would've had a different deal, but the timing of things and where we are ... Like Jay Lou, we knew we had to do surgery on him, but he got seven practices in, and then we did the surgery because we wanted to get half of it in. Sheridan, J.P., Venables, I mean ... Tre, Ruke, XT, we got a lot of guys ... Adam, Beaux, Stellato. They're all doing really, really well. So that's the main thing, just really just complete our team so that we can go put it all together on the field."
