Tiger Tracker: Clemson LB Target Comes Off Board, Commits Produce Big in Season Openers

A Clemson target came off the board on Saturday, as 2024 LB Wyatt Simmons announced a commitment to Arkansas.

The 3-star prospect (Harding Academy, Searcy, AR) picked up his offer from the Tigers after attending the big official visit weekend back in June. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound recruit had more than 20 offers in total.

Clemson already has commitments from 5-star Sammy Brown and 3-star Drew Woodaz, but the dismissal of T.J. Dudley leaves the Tigers still needing to add one more player at the position in the 2024 class. 4-star Bradley Shaw is the lone uncommitted LB to hold an offer.

Shaw (Hoover, AL) picked up his offer after attending the All In Cookout in late July. The 6-foot-1, 216-pound prospect is one of the top uncommitted LBs in the country, holding more than two dozen offers.

Clemson Commits In Action

A number of Clemson commits kicked off their high school seasons over the weekend, with several producing in big ways in their season openers.

LB Sammy Brown: Playing both ways, the 5-star scored four TDs on the offensive side of the ball, while also making a handful of stellar plays on the defensive side, as Jefferson knocked off Alpharetta 34-24.

WR TJ Moore: The 4-star wideout had two TD grabs in Tampa Catholic’s 42-10 win.

S Noah Dixon: The 4-star prospect notched two TD catches as Troup County was victorious 31-7 over Harris County.

CB Tavoy Feagin: The 4-star DB picked off a pass as Carrollwood Day took down Rockledge 38-6 on Friday night.

RB David Eziomume: Clemson’s lone RB commit in the 2024 class went for more than 100 yards on just 12 carries and produced two first half TD runs in a loss to Westlake.

DE Adam Kissayi: The 3-star talent had a sack and a forced fumble as his Heritage team downed Jensen 22-2.

RB Gideon Davidson: The 4-star 2025 prospect had four total TDs. He had an 80-yard kickoff return for a TD, then added two more rushing TDs and a receiving TD as Lynchburg beat ACHS 35-26. His longest TD run went for 56-yards.
