3-Star OL Mason Wade Flips Commitment, Signs with Clemson (Recruiting)

Mason Wade is officially a member of the Clemson Tigers' 2024 recruiting class.

Wade, out of Loudon Valley in Pucelleville, Va, had been committted to Duke since June. Mike Elko's departure for Texas A&M led to Wade exploring other options, and Dabo Swinney and Matt Luke paid him visit last Thursday, Wade had an offer from the Tigers. He would take an official to Clemson on Friday.

The 6-foot-5, 290-pound prospect had two dozen offers, including Auburn, Southern Cal, Missouri, Louisville, Tennessee and North Carolina.

Wade is one of four OL takes for Clemson in this recruiting class, as joins 4-star Elyjah Thurmon and 3-stars Ronan O'Connell and Watson Young. Wade is expected to be an early enrollee.
