Clemson Offer Would Be 'Really Cool' for 4-Star OL Brayden Jacobs (Recruiting)

Brayden Jacobs made two trips to check out the Clemson Tigers during the spring.

The 2025 4-star OL, out of Buford (Ga), visited for one of the junior days in early March and then returned for the spring game. Getting some face time with head coach Dabo Swinney was one of the highlights of the latest trip.

"I got to talk to coach Swinney one-on-one before the game," Jacobs told All Clemson Tigers. "That was probably one of the best parts about going."

Jacobs also spent several minutes on the field with offensive line coach Thomas Austin during pregame.

"He just told me to keep it up, like keep the grades up in the classroom," Jacobs said. "Because that's what really attracts Clemson to their players. I think he's a great offensive line coach and will probably coach several years at Clemson."

While he has yet to start his junior year of high school, Jacobs already has close to two dozen offers. Auburn, Florida, Georgia and Florida State have already pulled the trigger. However, Clemson won't start offering 2025 prospects until June, and if Jacobs were to pick one up from the Tigers, it's an offer that would stand out.

"I mean, a lot because they're so selective," Jacobs said. "Since their so selective, being one of those people that they select would be really cool."

The 6-foot-7, 310-pound prospect, is the son of former NFL running back Brandon Jacobs, who had stints with the Giants and 49ers. Although, the younger Jacobs doesn't lean on his father much during the recruiting process.

"Not that much actually," Jacobs said. "Because we played two completely different positions, we're looking for two different types of things."

Right now Jacobs said he has no favorites. He also said he might camp at Clemson this summer. He thinks he'd like to have a decision sometime before the start of his senior season and until then he is just focusing on continuing to build relationships.

"I'm looking for a relationship with my coach," Jacobs said. "Just if I like the school overall, the facilities and the team."
