The Virginia Tech Hokies, ranked 30th, are another team to watch. With the return of QB Kyron Drones, RB Bhayshul Tuten, and WR Da’Quan Felton, the Hokies’ offense is expected to be dynamic. Their defense, led by EDGE Antwaun Powell-Ryland and new addition DT Aeneas Peebles, will aim to stifle opponents throughout the season.
Meanwhile, the Duke Blue Devils, now under new head coach Manny Diaz, are ranked 71st. The departure of key players like QB Riley Leonard and RB Jordan Waters poses challenges, but Texas’ Maalik Murphy brings potential under center. The Blue Devils will need to rebuild and adapt to stay competitive in the ACC.
As the season unfolds, Clemson and its ACC counterparts will be under the microscope, each aiming to rise in the rankings and secure a spot in the expanded College Football Playoff.
