Clemson two-sport athlete Will Taylor has announced that he has decided to end his college football career to focus entirely on baseball.
"Most people never get the opportunity to play even one sport in college," Taylor said via social media. "I've been fortunate enough to play two. The opportunity to play both football and baseball for Clemson has been a dream come true with so many unforgettable moments. But today I am announcing my intention to pursue my passion for baseball at Clemson full-time."

Taylor joined the Tigers as a member of the 2021 recruiting class, beginning his career at quarterback, before moving to wide receiver after his freshman campaign. In 15 career games, he had seven catches for 22 yards and a touchdown, while also adding five carries for 20 yards. He returned 16 punts for a total of 90 yards.
On the diamond last season, Taylor hit .362 and drove in 46 runs. He had five home runs and was 11-for-11 in stolen bases.
Last year, Taylor became the first Clemson athlete to earn ACC championships in multiple sports in a single academic year since 1991-92 and the first in football and baseball since 1988-89.
Taylor's decision gets Clemson to that magic number of 85 scholarships just before the start of fall camp.
