CLEMSON, S.C. — Dabo Swinney's high school camps commenced Tuesday with morning and afternoon sessions.
The camp commenced today at the Clemson indoor practice facility, drawing students from grades eight through 12 who honed position-specific skills. Over 500 attendees from 22 states participated.
At the start of the camp, Dabo Swinney clarified that it wasn't a combine. We want you to collaborate with the coaches and Clemson players, focusing on learning the game of football and refining position-specific skills, Swinney emphasized that not all attendees would play for Clemson but encouraged them to acquire the necessary skills to pursue football further.
Just to highlight a few players present on the first day of camp, in-state 4-star wide receiver Jordon Gidron from Ridge View High School in Columbia, South Carolina, was in Clemson again and attended camp and showcased impressive skills.
The 2026 quarterback, CJ Britt from Lanier Christian Academy in Flowery Branch, Georgia, attended the camp for the past two summers. Britt demonstrated exceptional accuracy with the ball during today's session.
Another 2026 quarterback, Josiah Oxendine from Dillon High School in Dillon, South Carolina, participated in the camp today. Oxendine showcased his skills effectively during the reps he took.
2025 QB Kaeden Gilstrap from Walton High School Marietta, Georgia took reps at the camp today.
2025 wide receiver Dillon Alfred from Saraland High School in Saraland, Alabama, attended today's session and displayed impressive skills while training with wide receiver coach Tyler Grisham. Alfred, committed to Ole Miss back in April, today he trained with Clemson.
Irmo High School's 4-star wide receiver, Donovan Murph from Columbia, South Carolina, received an offer from Clemson after today's camp. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound receiver showcased an impressive performance.
Many Clemson coaches, players, administrators, and coaches from other universities participated in coaching high schoolers in their respective positions. This included freshman LB Sammy Brown, who was observed working with the linebackers today.
