Jordan Allen is one of the fastest rising receivers in the country.
The 3-star prospect out of Buford (Ga), recently worked out at Dabo Swinney's high school camps and All Clemson Tigers caught up with Allen to recap the visit.
"Clemson is a great program," Allen said. "The atmosphere is amazing with a great coaching staff. I really enjoyed my time on campus."
Standing 5-foot-8, Allen is the epitome of what sheer determination represents, as the speedy wideout put on an impressive performance in front of the Clemson coaches, noting on Twitter that he won every rep.
Great day at @ClemsonFB camp. Won every rep! Thank you for the opportunity. "That is the mindset I have," Allen said. "I am a very competitive athlete. It doesn’t matter who steps in front of me, I have the mindset to dominate every chance I get. I try to make the most of every opportunity."
Wide receivers coach Tyler Grisham certainly took notice.
"Coach Grisham told me I was a fast, quick receiver with natural hands," Allen said. "That is one thing that I take pride in. I want to be as smooth as possible when it comes to route running and catching the ball. I try to be an explosive, shifty, consistent receiver."
The rest of the country is starting to take notice as well. Georgia and Louisville have both offered in the past week, bringing his total number of offers to 13. For now, those are the schools Allen is looking to continue building relationships with.
"I do not plan to camp much this summer," Allen said. "I will continue to build relationships with the schools that have offered me already and hopefully build relationships with other schools in the future."
While the Tigers have yet to offer, Allen is on the radar, and it is an offer he would certainly love to have.
"It would mean a lot, especially knowing that these are one of the tougher offers to get," he said. "I train and study film so I can be the best athlete I can be."
Allen's recruitment is really starting to pick up in recent weeks. The talented wideout has no timeline for making a decision, but he does know what it is he is looking for in a college destination.
"Academics definitely play a huge role in the decision," Allen said. "Location is also important. And the relationship I have made with the coaching staff."
