Clemson returns home after its devastating defeat at Duke, as the Tigers (13-6, 3-5) will host Louisville (6-14, 1-8) inside Littlejohn Coliseum on Tuesday night.
Brad Brownell's team comes in fresh off a last second, one-point defeat to the Blue Devils on Saturday and with how that game played out, the head coach knows the quick turnaround will be tough.
"I need to get on to Louisville, my team needs to get on to Louisville," Brownell said.
"When we got home, I said guys we can have a pity party, we can feel sorry for ourselves, we can bitch and complain, we can do all that. But we better put it past us. Let's not talk about it too much more. Let's get on to what's next and that's Louisville."
The Cardinals come in having dropped five in a row, and eight of their past nine, after suffering a 69-52 loss at home to Virginia on Saturday.
Despite the loss to Duke, Clemson did move up in the NCAA Net Rankings to No. 28, but with Louisville sitting at No. 231, this is one of those games the Tigers need to win.
Getting back in front of the home crowd is something Brownell is hoping will help his team bounce back, but he knows that starts with shooting the ball better.
"We have lost two games at home," Brownell said. "We got to play better here... we got to shoot better here. We have not shot the ball very well in our own building, so we have got to make more shots from the perimeter to help finish games and to finish our season the way we want to."
Tipoff is set for 9pm and the game will be televised on the ACCN.
