As we first reported two weeks back, 2025 OL target Jaylan Beckley will be back in Clemson for Elite Junior Day on January 27.

The 4-star talent, out of Trinity Christian in Addison, Tx, last visited for camp back in June. Being so far away made it hard for Beckley to get in for a game day visit during the season but he is now very much looking forward to finally getting to meet new OL coach Matt Luke in person.

"Coach Luke has done a great job getting our line of communication going and beginning to build a relationship with me and my family," Beckley said. "I have a great deal of respect for him as a man, and as a coach. I am really looking forward to meeting him in person next week."

Beckley said he is expecting both Luke and offensive coordinator Garrett Riley to make a stop by his school in the coming days.

Luke also paid a visit to Evans High School in Georgia last Friday to check in on 4-star 2025 OL Mason Short. The 6-foot-7, 295-pound prospect is a Top 100 talent and is currently committed to Alabama. He has been committed since the spring, before Clemson even started handing out offers to 2025 prospects. Short is a guy keeping an eye on with Nick Saban retiring.

OL Brayden Jacobs (Buford, Ga) has confirmed that he will be in attendance for Elite Junior Day. The 4-star talent camped at Clemson last summer, visited for a game during the season, and then returned for a bowl practice.

5-star OL Josh Petty told me that he will not be able to attend due to a 5x5 tournament he plans on participating in. Petty did say he does plan to get back to Clemson at some point in the near future when his tournament and wrestling schedule lighten up.

3-star WR Jordan Allen (Buford, Ga), a teammate of Jacobs, is not planning to attend as of this time. Allen picked up his offer back in June after working out at camp and visited twice during the season. With the Tigers already having Ju Ju Preston on board already, the staff may choose not to take another slot receiver in this class. Allen said he might visit Louisville that weekend.
