Clemson sophomore receiver Antonio Williams suffered a lower-body injury in the first quarter of Saturday's game against Florida Atlantic.

The starting slot WR left the field and was taken to the locker room, but he returned to play in the second quarter.

He suffered the injury after making a 12-yard reception early in the game. Williams went into the tent with the medical staff. He then attempted to run on the sideline before being taken back for further examination.

His replacement, freshman Tyler Brown, caught a 30-yard touchdown in the first quarter.

Williams had two receptions for 17 yards and returned a punt. The team's leading receiver a year ago, Williams came into the game with 120 yards on 10 receptions and two touchdowns.

The Tigers were already down defensive back Andrew Mukuba and right guard Walker Parks in this game.
