Tiger Tracker: Latest On Multiple Clemson OL Targets, June Official Visitors (Recruiting)

With spring practice at Clemson now in the books, attention is now turned toward the summer months and that means recruiting.

Clemson coaches will spend much of the next month on the road visiting targets in the current recruiting class, as well as potential targets in future classes. Then Dabo Swinney's high school camps get started on May 31, which will lead into the big official visit weekend June 2-4.

Last year, more than 30 recruits were on hand for the big event. There might not be quite as many in attendance this year, but that doesn't mean the event carries any less weight. The Tigers locked up a bulk of its recruiting class coming off that weekend last year, and might very well do the same this year.

While the event is still a month away, we already know some of the recruits set to attend.

  • 5-star LB Sammy Brown
  • 5-Star DE Eddrick Houston
  • 4-star DE Jeremiah Beaman
  • 4-star WR Alex Taylor
  • 4-star WR Bryant Wesco
  • 4-star OL Jameson Riggs
  • 4-star OL Fletcher Westphal
  • 4-star OL Casey Poe
  • 4-star OL Michael Uini
  • 4-star CB Corian Gipson
  • 4-star CB Omillio Argard
  • 4-star CB Ashton Hampton

4-star WR Jonathan Paylor is also on the docket. We'll see if the visit actually ends up taking place. I'm not convinced it will.

3-star in-state wideout Braylon Staley is planning to take an official to Miami that first weekend in June and not Clemson. We'll see if that holds.

Other players that could very well end up on hand include 4-star WRs TJ Moore and Cam Coleman, 4-star DE CJ Jackson, 5-star ATHs Mike Matthews and KJ Bolden and 4-star OL Jameson Riggs and William Satterwhite.

Riggs just released a Top 10 that includes Clemson, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, LSU, Auburn, Duke, USC, Penn State and Vanderbilt. The Volunteers might just be the biggest competition.

Westphal named his five finalists, Clemson, Georgia, Auburn, Arkansas and Florida, and will take official visits to all five schools.

Poe also dropped his list of eight finalists that included Clemson, Texas Tech, LSU, Alabama, Baylor, Oklahoma, Georgia and Auburn.

2025 RB Gideon Davidson has already trimmed his list down to ten. Ohio State, Colorado, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Michigan, Oregon, USC, Penn State and Iowa State all made the cut. Davidson made two spring visits to Clemson and will be one of the Tigers' top targets at the position in the next recruiting cycle.
