CLEMSON- Clemson resumed practice on Thursday afternoon as the Tigers continue to prepare for their Gator Bowl matchup with Kentucky.
Thursday Observations
- Starting QB Cade Klubnik was back at it today after missing Tuesday's practice due to finals. Klubnik's right ankle/foot is still heavily wrapped. No limp, and he is moving around well. The right leg was also in a sleeve. Chris Vizzina was taking the second team reps.
- WR Ronan Hanafin was not in uniform and wearing a walking boot on his left foot. He fully participated on Tuesday.
- WRs Tyler Brown and Antonio were both sporting the green limited contact jerseys. TE Jake Briningstool was in yellow, although he was taking part in the scramble drills as the media viewing period ended.
- Will Shipley and Stellato were both working on the punt return team behind Hamp Greene.
- Dietrick Pennington was working at RG early on in practice, while Zach Owens was repping at RT. Trent Howard and Bryn Tucker were both working at LG.
- Kobe McCloud was once again the third LB behind Barrett Carter and Wade Woodaz. Wes Goodwin was coaching those guys hard. At one point he was loudly yelling that after 12 weeks of the regular season there were some things he should not still have to be coaching.
- Mike Reed had five corners on the field during the period I watched. Shelton Lewis and Avieon Terrell headed up the group, followed by walk-on players Colby Shaw and Tristen Rigby.
- Chris Rumph was once again coaching his players hard on Thursday. Maybe not quite as loud as Tuesday, but just as hard. He is very demanding and places a lot of emphasis on doing the little things right.
